Making this public to the media with that be a good idea

I'm a civil servant who works for the Federal Gov't. About four and a half years ago another employee accused me of being a gang member and that I hung out with a motorcycle club. This individual also accused me of putting a hit on 3 individuals. . Now back in 2009 one of the individuals was my shift supervisor who asked to borrow money from me and who wanted a relationship with me which I did not think of him that way. So when this individual came up with this story the shift supervisor ran with it and said he was in fear of his life because of the people I knew. Since he's been there longer than I a few of his buddies rallied with him Now management took an adverse action against me and placed me in a position where I lost money and where my reputation was questioned. Not only did I feel that management did not protect me but they were siding with these individuals. Even when nothing was found they still wanted me to sign a possible notice of reprimand. I refused and of course they were upset. Now it's looks like it's coming into fruition and the agency seems to be prolonging it because they have the Deep Pockets and I don't. I'm going for discrimination retaliation and sexual harassment. I can understand the agency doing an investigation but not only did it take them a year-and-a-half but they placed me on a day shift in which I lost Monies. Due to my seniority I was able to get onto a night shift however the shift supervisor that used to be in charge of me, is still able to bei in charge of me when my original supervisor is not in. Is there anything else I can go after the agency for? This agency tends to have a lot of lawsuits but due to the fact that a lot of women cannot afford it or prolong it there's a lot of things that go without and unsaid. Do you think making this Public to the media would be a good idea? Please advise
The last thing they want is publicity that's when it seems they tend to pay out
