In regards to PTO my company has a policy that is mandatory certain paid holidays to use PTO. ..

As I stated in the question. In regards to PTO my company has a policy that is mandatory certain paid holidays to use PTO so, Christmas, New Year's, 4th of July, and some other observed holidays are required to use PTO. Recently my team went down 2 days of the 4 days I am contracted for. Since is a company issue it is legal they take my PTO to cover full time even though I request no payment for the days down until things normalize and after they told me the only mandatory days are the observed holidays and that I can request to not use PTO for Low Census? They called "low census" when the company does not have either enough or not at all work for us to do.
