If my previous employer leaked my 2015 w2 and I have activity on my ss# because of it, can I sue?
I was contacted by mail on March 17th, 2016 that an employee had fallen victim to a phishing scam and all our W2's were taken. There has been activity on my ss# through the IRS because of this. Is there a California law that states I can sue? Is it feasible? This is the second time that this company in two years has had its "sensitive" information breached.
