If an employee who resigned says I discriminated against him on FB, is that libel?
I am a white supervisor who had a minority employee recently resign. In the resignation letter I was accused of racial discrimination. This letter was sent to all members of the department workplace team. On the same day, the claim was posted to FaceBook, directly naming me. Do I have any steps I can take in regards to defamation or libel? Our company does not have a social media policy.
