Employee resigned 6 weeks ago and had a garnishment in place and is now being considered for rehire. Should his garnishment restart or do we need a new court order?

Employee was here for 9 months and had a court ordered garnishment but when he resigned 6 weeks ago, the garnishment was not complete. He is being considered for rehire and if he is, do we restart the garnishment on file since it was such a recent resignation?
