If a company is selling one of their locations.

If at the beginning or the store closing your dm assured you not to worry and that he would have a position for you. Well that was two months ago. Since then I've never missed a day I've been one of the two managers to work 7 days a week and open and close the store. I received an evaluation where I was given a raise. Now then with the closing done and over with, my district manager has just informed me that he does not have a front end manager position for me at the same rate of pay. He informed me that there had been new policy and procedures that have been posted in the last two months that we were not notified of. Less than really two months ago he was assuring me that I had a position within the store at the same rate of pay. Now then with less than 4 days to go he is informing me he does not. If he would have informed me that he didn't have a position for me I know for a fact I would have at least been able to go out and apply for a job meaning that I've been working 7 days straight. But now then it looks like either I have a choice either I can take a demotion and work for $9 an hour which that is just it can't be done not for a adult who lives on her own with bills to pay plus travel because that there's no stores close to where I live. Or I can be jobless. My question is since I was assured that I had a job and now then Everything's changed the only job that I seem to have is a lower-paying job at a lower position and I've been with them almost a year. If I do not take the job that they offer am I able to draw unemployment. Meaning that they lied to me and I have it on voice recording
