If I have maxed out PTO hours, can my employer limit that amount, lowering it in the process, without my permission?
I am an employee for a company in California. I had a maxed out number of PTO hours accrued. Recently I discovered 70 hours were taken out of my PTO hours without my permission. When inquiring, I was told my maximum had been limited and that had been the reason. Is this Legal?
