I was a store manager for a year and five months. I got demoted when my company combined two stores and replaced me with another manager from another store without any discussion with me. Do I have any legal action for wrongful demotion.

Not unless the decision to demote you was done for an illegal discriminatory or retaliatory reason. There are no facts here to suggest that, but it may be something you want to explore with an attorney. Hope this helps and best of luck.
