I need help with a non compete form I signed in 2005
I was laid off 2 weeks ago from my employer, I worked there in sales from 2005 until 2 weeks ago and had to sign a non compete form when I was hired in 2005. I have 5 kids, one just starting college and one in diapers and 3 more inbetween and have 2 job offers in the same industry (CD/DVD manufacturing). I'm sure the owner of the former company will do something, just not sure what my options are but I need to provide for my family! What can I do?
