I have intermittent FMLA to care for my mother with progressive MS, my family also planned a vacation with my mother that was approved before the FMLA (before she gets any worse, we wanted to have good memories). My company required I use all my paid time
The vacation was approved prior to FMLA. I would of taken unpaid leave but it was required to use paid leave which depleted time saved for vacation in question. I am willing to use vacation as unpaid if FMLA protects the time off since those days were paid.
