Non-Compete
I have been with a company for a few weeks. They had me sign a very broad non-compete with a duration of two years after severance. I have a new offer (more money) and want to move on but the new employer wants a n amendment of the current employer's non-compete but I don't think the existing employer will release me or amend it as needed. I don't necessarily want to ask but them but do you think they will amend it? Do you see where I can get out of the non-compete (any loopholes)?
