I QUIT MY JOB, BECAUSE ANOTHER EMPLOYEE LIED ABOUT ME TO HAVE ME REMOVED FROM CERTAIN JOB DUTIES/FACILITY. I WAS NOT FIRED, BUT DUE TO THE LIES I COULD NOT GO BACK TO A CERTAIN FACILITY. I HAVE SINCE QUIT. WOULD IT BE ILLEGAL TO CONTACT THAT FACILITY TO D

A CO WORKER LIED TO A FACILITY MANAGER THAT I WAS TRYING TO GET THEIR RESIDENTS TO MOVE TO OTHER FACILITIES. THE MANAGER WAS PROMPTED TO WRITE A LETTER TO REQUEST I NOT COME BACK. I WAS NOT FIRED, BECAUSE I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. THIS PERSON LIED. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO CONTACT RESIDENTS OR STAFF AT THIS FACILITY. I TOOK UP THE ISSUE WITH HR, BUT DECIDED TO QUIT AFTER NO RESPONSE AFTER A WEEK AND A HALF. AFTER SENDING IN MY RESIGNATION, I GOT A LETTER FROM HR INFORMING OF NO WRONG DOING. I AM WANTING TO TALK TO SOMEONE AT THE FACILITY I WAS FRIENDS WITH. AFTER MY FINAL DAY AT WORK, COULD I CALL HER OR ANYONE AND DEFEND MY NAME AND REPUTATION? I HAVE NO PLANS TO SAY ANYTHING OFFENSIVE ABOUT MY EMPLOYER. I PLAN TO SAY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME. I JUST DO NOT WANT THEM TO HAVE ANY LEGAL RECOURSE AGAINST ME.
