How long do I have to work after returning from Maternity based FMLA/STD?

I live in Ohio and I have worked for this company for 2 years. This is a large company with 1000's of employees. The company pays the monthly premiums for STD/LTD through a 3rd party (liberty mutual). I will be taking 12 weeks FMLA concurrently with STD. I'm thinking about quitting my job shortly after returning from my leave. Is there any set number of days I need to work to avoid paying back my STD pay? I cannot find any stipulations in our employee handbook.

The answer would be in the short term disability plan, not an employee handbook. Request a copy of the plan from the administrator (Liberty Mutual). Ask for the Plan, and not a Summary Plan Description. You have the right to receive the Plan.

If you need help deciphering the Plan, you can call 216.382.2500 and request a consultation. We do, however, charge a $300 consultation fee.
