Hello- I reside in Florida and will be losing my position due to a reduction in force. I will receive severance payments for 16 weeks. Should I file for unemployment immediately or wait for the severance payments to end. If I file immediately will my 23 w

Will the fact that my severance is being paid over 16 weeks reduce the 23 weeks of unemployment available if I file immediately or will the 23 weeks be available in total after the last week of severance is paid and I am still unemployed? Thank you!
