Harassment/Discrimiation

Dear Mel,

I have recently been fired from my job. I am a sales rep and feel that I have been not only discriminated by but also harassed by my old boss. There are several things that don't add up and I would like to know if any of these reasons add up to a case before I pursue it further. Please note each item on the list

- My boss would give out leads in my area to a rep in another state to follow-up on rather than me, which alternatively reflected my numbers poorly.

- She wouldn't send me to the training course that I was told I would have at time of hire until 6 months after I had been there. At this training session they gave me great ideas to attck my market but when asked if I could attend them she told me NO...again directly effecting my numbers.

- When asked for help she would give none.

- She was reported to have been in trouble in December of 2003 and that she was getting fired but instead on the day she fired me it was her last day in her position...she has been moved to another part of the company and I am afraid she fired me becuase she was worried that it might effect her career if I spoke with the new territory mangager.

- I wasn't alloted an exit interview with the companies HR department nor a discussion with anyone but the boss I have had. I would think that someone else might want to contact me prior to being fired but that would just be an assumption.

- Lastly, I injured myself on the job in March of 2004 and when I offered to work...though against doc's orders because I needed the sales she told me that if I worked against doc's orders...by attending a conference, that I would get in trouble.

Since then my numbers were low for the months I was out but instead of taking that into consideration, I have been fired.

- Not only have I been fired but becuase I was taking from my base pay during the months I was injured and not making quota they would like me to repay them the money for that time.

Please let me know what you think I would appreciate your opinion before I pay any fees.
