EEO & Fraud

As a Federal employee, I am interested in knowing if fraudulent information in my employee file is a violation of my civil rights. Although I am reasonably certain that it is racially motivated, I am unsure that I can prove racial discrimination. However, I have documentation which indicates fraud. Also, have evidence that the fraud has been used against me previously. I am wondering if this could be an EEO/EEOC case.

Fraud question

It is possible that this type of behavior could constitute unlawful treatment. Federal employees are afforded protections at least as broad as private-sector employees in this regard. Incorrect information sitting in your employment file may or may not be "actionable" with legal claim, but by all means one should consider addressing the same lest it be used against you at a later date.
