Do I need to appeal

I was denied benefits for severe misconduct at company X. After being fired from X I got work at Co Y but only lasted 3 weeks until they let me go for no license. However, they knew that at time of hiring. Today I got a letter stating I'm eligible to collect now due to unemployment compensation law. Do I still need to appeal the sever misconduct from company X or is it all settled now and will I soon be collecting? Do I still have to settle my disqualification period? Thanks I need your help ASAP
