Do I lose benefits if forced to resign because I cant relocate to a different state?

My company may be asking all remote workers to report to an office and if they do not live near one they are required to move. If unwilling to relocate you must resign and take severance. What does this mean to unemployment benefits? Do I become ineligible because I dont want to move to another state? I was an approved remote worker long before Covid, so this would also be a significant change in terms of employ. .
