Do I have to offer an employee the same job and the same shift after a very long WC absence?
I have a FT employee that works a shift which has limited help during this shift. He has been out about 5months on a WC injury. I need to find out if I am legally bound to offer him his same position as well as the same shift upon his return whenever that may be. I have no problem making accamodations for him if needed but I need his current shift filled with someone who does not have any restrictions due to the lack of help on this shift.
