Do I deserver any type of compensation after 7 years at my job?

I've been working as a truck driver for my company since 2005 with no problems with my employer. Know the company is closing the hole transportation department without further notice. Do I have any right to a compensation due to the time I've worked with this company? since, they are closing the local transportation department to hire a bid owner operated company to do their transportation.
