Discrimination?Retaliation?Compensation?

I reported employee miscondut and the next day was repremanded greatly with 2 weeks unpaid suspension, 90day probation period, and pto approved for 15 and 16 would not be paid to be. While trying to reason with them I was accused by supervisor of being verbally abusive, physical, and they stated I was being too sensitive and should have never reported the employees misconduct. The incident occured while I was about to start patient care (Nurse) for a company for 6 years but new to this particular location only been here approx 1 yr. When I saw an elderly family member waiting in the hall out side of the men's lock down unit for patients with behaviors (physical) and mental. It has recently been taking two people in order to get on and off the unit. I saw a house keeper walking toward exit and feared for the visitors safety. I called out to him to be careful when exiting the unit. He took this statement offense(I have no idea why) never having a confrontation with this employee prior, he started cussing me out when I tried to calm him down he continued and stated I don't give a $@%# write me up if you got a problem get your man to come fight me. I reported this to management d/t the stress I felt at the time and I thought I could go to her for anything. Not to mention the patients and family present as well. I reported to her that day I would next be in the next day d/t needing a day to recoup or distress. The next day I was told I was a no call no show and was at risk for termination. After several days of trying to reach them with no success I went up there. When I spoke to hr about the incident that occured she stated she knew of no such incident. They in my eyes did not conduct a thorough investigation and he was not reprimanded for his actions. I am supposed to return on the 17 but I no longer trust my bosses she states I never told her I was not coming to work the next day but I have witnesses that remember me telling her. Do I have a case? I have went to them twice asking my suspension be paid with my pto d/t my inability to provide and shelter my family of four small children with no pay for the entire two weeks I was suspended. This was refused but I was offered to work as a cha d/t short staff as usual but this was not only unresolved and they accused me of being verbal and violent without ever questioning my witness and he would be working that weekend. So with that being said am I eligible for unemployment or compensation (whistleblower act) fair labor act? Anything? Also this employee is good friends with housekeeping supervisor who has been there approx 15 yrs. Other employees stated he is a hot head and goes off on people a lot. Nothing ever gets done to him.
Update 10/31 I have since resigned due to the continued lying and retaliatory actions of management. After reporting the verbal abuse I was the target. I was not able to pay any bills because of the loss and was server eviction papers last week. I have been unsuccessful at finding assistance on the situation both internal or external. Help ASAP?
