Can my employer disclose to other employees how much PTO I have left?

the "HR" contact sends out meeting requests for everyone's upcoming PTO and discloses in the text how much PTO that employee will have remaining. Is that illegal or just tacky? Some of us negotiated the top limit of PTO as part of our hire package, at the very least this can create some animosity.
