Can a employer lower your bonus due to a health issue that came up.

My company moved our store to a different location. I am the assistant store manager. I had some anxiety issues pop up during this time. My boss had me do basically nothing thinking I would have a health issue at work. I only missed one day of work during this time. After the move my normal bonus was dropped down below normal and his reason was because I didn't help as much as he thought I should. Is this legal?
