Can a company add job tasks you are physically unable to do then fire you for them?

I do housekeeping but when I was hired Maintenance did certain things like moping the hardwood and taking out trash. The Maintenance guy (my husband) left and are now trying to get me to do it his job. Can they fire me for not doing these jobs which I am unable to do?
