Can a Manager prohibit where employees walk in the building?

My manager was recently granted a desk move for me next to him and two other peers of mine. Another manager wanted the desk I am moving into for her employee however, she did not get it. My manager has now told me that I am to walk down a different aisle so as to not disturb her employees. My desk is the first desk at the start of the aisle and I am to walk an extra 20 more paces to the right to go down a differnt aisle to walk up 20 more paces to the left to get to where I need to go. Can this manager enforce this? In addition, I am 3 months pregnant and I am concerned that for safety reasons what if I am unable to go the route I am being asked and/or what if I forget?
