Can I sue my employer for for putting me into severe debt?

I sure you're asking yourself how did his employer put this guy into debt? The answer right off the bat I'm sure is no. But if you consider the individual circumstance. I work for a financial firm here in charlotte. When I started with the firm in 2006 I had modest debt, $2,000 or so and my credit score was 798 at the time. After I signed on with the company I was made aware I was going to be paid a draw salary. In addition to this draw salary, I was required to set up and provide Lunch & Learns to prospects to try to generate leads. (These L&L's were partially reimbursed). When I started I was hooked up with a manager who was held in high regard with the company and she was required to run all my meetings with my clients. Long story short, this manager did not have the clients best interest at heart and took advantage of several of my clients causing my compinsation $20,000 or more to be reversed. Because I was required to pay back this compensation out of new revenue generated and being on a draw salary it was very difficult to maintain even a substandard standard of living causing me to go deeper and deeper in debt. The work environment was hostile and I also suffered from humiliation and harrassment. I was pushed by a manager causing another advisor to quit because of these events. I would love to discuss this with someone who thinks they could help. Thank you. Corey
