Can I be terminated because I missed too much work and got behind?
I was in a car accident July 16th, I have missed 6 days of work due to a neck injury and have gotten behind in my job duties. My boss wrote me up friday and told me I have 2 weeks to do everything plus whatever new assignments he has or I am terminated. I was given no prior verbal warning and on many occasions asked my boss for help that I was feeling overwhelmed. I am confused and shocked and do not want to loose my job due to medical issues.
