CA Unemployment & Spouse Relocation

We currently live near Los Angeles, where my husband and myself both live together. I got offered a new job, up north, over 3 hours away. My husband wants to be able to do his job from home (soon to be northern california), but thinks his boss won't agree to it. He is in the computer field and it is feasible he could work out an arrangement to keep his job. There are no offices of his current company near that area. He will ask and see about a telecommuting arrangement. Most likely, he will have to quit.
Will he be eligible for CA unemployment? I read somewhere that if you are moving to keep a family unit together, that may be quitting with good cause.
Just what cirumstances would enable him to receive benefits.
Of course, in the meantime, he is searching for things that would be in the new area.

Probably eligible

He is probably eligible for UI benefits if he is unable to get his current employer to agree to the telecommuting. You should look at the website of the California Employment Development Department for a specific answer.
