Bereavement time adjacent to Holiday
My company will not pay me for Labor Day, because they have a policy that will deny the pay if adjacent days are taken off. My Mother's wake is on the Friday before Labor Day. I am told that if I take the day off, I will not be paid for the Holiday. Is this legal?
