The Dept Lead ( in this case a step above supervisor) has openly discussed ,with his daughter, the conduct of his subordinate. The daughter and subordinate has a long friendship that ended poorly. The Lead also discussed the subordinate's conduct with his daughter.
The daughter doesn't work for the company.
