work place retaliation

My boss was yelling and swearing at us and was being very rude and belitleing us I addressed this with HR put was blown off also addressed it with higher up supervision and also was blown off. I work for a third party and was asked by the owner one day how things where going told the truth ( tearable ) and then received a written warning stating that my action where unprofessional and out of line and was told that my future with the company would go no further, unpromotable, I also received a written warning and when asked to have a copy of all the complaints in writing was denied and told that, that was not possible and would not be done. My question is would these action be considered retaliation.
