our s-corp business is Florida is closing and my husband was the sole shareholder. Can he transfer the company car from corporate to private without paying sales tax again?
When I asked someone that handles auto registrations about transferring the car from a company vehicle to private she said she thought it could be transferred without paying sales tax again if it was part of a severance or reimbursement package and it needed to be included in the corporation minutes.
