if i was fired for a company policy that did not exist. then told not fired then was given permission to do the same thing originally fired for. But, have not worked for 2 months shouldnt my employer compensate me for time. 32years employed

I was working A division when I quit and went over to the B division same company. After a week B fired me . When inquired they said Company policy you cannot switch. I was not aware been with Co. 30+ years. They could not show me a policy where that is stated. Alot of conversation took place in between. Aug 4th to current now they say sure you can go to B division for now A division does not need anyone. If that is the case should they be obligated to pay my salary for time lost my income about 1000 more than what my unemployment weekly. I am on the verge of losing alot an still waiting on a call. I would still be at B division if they had not fired me.
