if i am the backup supervisor does my employer have to pay me when the supervisor is off work?
I am the backup supervisor for our department. does my employer have to pay me when the regular supervisor is off or out of the office? people will come to me when the supervisor is out and my employer wants to dictate when or if i get the extra pay. this is a minimal amount of money/hours and more about the principle to me.
