humiliation

I recently divorced a supervisor, whom I have children with. After our divorce, she began to date a supervisor in my section. Since I had also injured myself at work, I became seriously depressed about both situations. I felt humiliated that the supervisor was dating my ex-wife. It's been almost a year since I medically retired. Everybody knows I left because I felt humiliated going to work and seeing the supervisor. I could have stayed and enjoyed the higher income. Do I have a case against the employer because of humiliation. She had a previous adulterous relationship. I was humiliated when employees stated I could ask him how my family is doing. Depression set in.

From the facts given, I am not sure what kind of case you could pursue against the company. Do you think the company did something wrong to you? Once you divorced, your wife was free to date anyone she wanted to. It does not appear that the company did anything wrong against you. I would advise you to visit a local lawyer and give them all of the facts to see if you have a claim.
