compressed work week

We are a Non Profit organization located in New York who employs both exempt and non exempt employees that are paid on a bi-weekly pay cycle.

We are looking into a compressed 9 80 work week and would like to know if there are any restrictions that would keep us from doing so as a not for profit entity.

Not for Profit Employers

All employers, whether for profit or not for profit, are subject to the same set of rules governing wages and hours. Only governmental employers are exempt from certain, but not all, rules.
