Would a contract would be null and void if I had been terminated. It has nothing to do with non-com

I just sent another message, need to clear something up...I sold the home to a family member AFTER I was re-instated for this sale only. I never signed a new contract. My relationship had be ended 1 to 2 days, then re-instated. Now they want to charge me for a mentor that was never involved with the sale, did not assist in any way, was my own personal lead. Have an e-mail from former managing broker stating I would get the full commission. Now the new managing broker is say I am not because my mentor needs to get 35%.
