When suspended from work, wether with or without pay, yet required by the suspension language to drive to the workplace for Human Resource meetings, may I request mileage reimbursement? I receive mileage rebursent as a regular part of my job.

I submitted to be reimbursed for mileage from my employer for travel between home and the workplace for mandatory HR meetings set as a condition of the paid and unpaid suspensions. My former employer is denying those requests for payment. In my past employment with them, I have been reimbursed for mileage from home to the workplace when I have been on vacation or not at work due to a holiday or other paid absense from work.
