What are my rights at work
I recently was called by my boss and told i was suspended from work until she came back from vacation and the investigation was finished. She said she would meet up with me in a week when she came back. I asked what i was being investigated for and she said with out having a witness she could only tell me any more than misconduct. I said that is a wide variety of items and i should know what it is for, she once more said that she could not tell me any more and that we could cover more when she came back. After that she also said that if i was found guilty that i would not be paid for the time off and if i was found not guilty of this i would be paid for the time. Is this right? Should i not be told what i am being investigated for besides the general answer " misconduct " ? Should she be the one to decide who is the witness not me or me having a saying? Should I not be paid during the time she is out of town? Two months ago they accused me of theft and I proved them wrong as they only had half the truth, the part they wanted and now they come after me with something else. Is this harassment?
