Was i unfairly treated?

I worked for Dawn Foods in Modesto california they decided to shut down that plant and transfered me and my family to seattle in april of this year. I payed my union intiation fee and my union dues every check on Oct 5th as i clocked in i was called into the office and was told that i was being laid-off indefinetely no explaination on why or anything, i had no union rep there and never heard from my union. I want to know if i possible have a case since the comany transfered me here i up rooted my family out of the town we were in ande moved on short notice and 6 months later i am without a job and all i got was a regular 2 week pay check minus all the taxes and garnishment and then they with held more money then they were suppose to for my child support...
