Unpaid employer expenses
My husband's company laid him off in Ocotber. They said they would pay his expenses within 30 days. 3 months later and still on money. It is close to $40,000. What can he do to get this money? He also has an outstanding bonus unpaid.

The bonus and TWC
Your husband may be able to collect the unpaid bonus through filing a claim with the Texas Workforce Commission under the Texas Payday Law -- but he's got to make that claim within 180 days of when he was supposed to receive those wages. Talk with the lawyer about that option as well.

breach of contract
You need to consult with a local attorney. It sounds like he may have a breach of contract claim for the unpaid expenses and possibly the bonus.
