Susan found a new job that would pay much more. In accordance with Amazon policy, she gave her manager a two-week notice that she would be leaving. Bill, Susan’s manager, was upset she was quitting, so Bill terminated her employment immediately. Susan was upset because she thought she had acted properly by giving her two weeks' notice to Bill. Her new employer, Microsoft, will not be able to employ her for four weeks. Susan believes Amazon has breached the employment agreement and she should be paid for the two weeks between jobs. Is Susan right?
