Special agreement wages not paid during resignation

Hi
I had to leave company in end of March 2012. and in the Summer of 2011 we had signed a agreement with Company i had worked for that I shell not provide my resume to the other companies bidding on contract and if we win they will pay award in two parts. I had fullfilled my obligation in full. They did pay the first part of the award in 08052011. Then company had won the contract in early March 2012. Unfortunatly I had to resign as they did not reserve spot for me on new contract and I had another opportunity. In the agreement they note following: "Payment for this award will be triggered by your acceptance of this agreement. This does not preclude you from working for another company post-award."
As far as I see I fullfilled my part of the agreement and was there at the award time. But had to leave after the award. Company HR policy is that this is sales bonus and I am not with company when they pay bonuses however agreement do not state this requirement. Do you think I have an option to get second portion of the award?
