Severance versus accrued (reset 1/1) vacation pay

My company is closing in late January 2017 and I have been employed about 6 years. My vacation time resets on January 1st every year and I was requested to stay on until the day the doors actually close to finish up work in progress. I was also offered and accepted a severance package. I haven't signed any paperwork, does my acceptance of the severance package mean I cannot request the accrued vacation time (3 weeks) to be paid out on my last time card when I walk out the door?
