Retalation? Hospital Work Release = 0 Hours.

I work a corporate job as a line cook, wont name it but its a big one. Simple Short Version - My six month pregnant girlfriend and myself both work here supposedly full time for about six months now and i just recently had an issue that resulted in me having to go to the emergency room and thus getting a 3 day work release. all well and good. i communicate about it its not a big issue then at the time was told ah its okay i understand we will give you the week off, reluctant to take the week off i did like i said at the time it was serious enough for something for me to lose money on in the first place i figured lets take it safe.... week goes by schedule is supposed to be up the next day everything is all well and good... then my girl friend has an issue where she has to go to the emergency room on a shift that didn't work out with the manager... even sending us a text message saying this is a not a good night for her to do this being knowing full well she was pregnant. i deleted the text message i feel stupid but anyway, i kind of just blew her off when i had gotten the message i had a bigger concern at that time, i thought simply advising her that this had happened was good enough...moving on... my girlfriend goes in the next day to discover the schedule.. i have absolutely 0 hours up and she asks politely if it was a mistake obviously she knows us well enough to have my home number and text me a message like that , give my girlfriend ride to work frequently, i even acknowledge that when we first took this job we were hurting without a place to live at the time and this woman the general manager allowed us to stay in her home in the basement. which only lasted 1 month. on a fast food wage. we are trying hard here and she knows it and she just took a shot way below the belt that quite honestly i think i will lose my apartment over. i know thats what happened it was out of anger. she think she owns us now after everything we work super flexible hours most of the time we get called in all the time we are like the only people training people and we aren't even trainers getting the wage the promised both of us shift leader even said that they sent everything threw then revoked that on us i think for honestly the same reason... there is things going wrong in this store. this woman isnt even trained. she shouldnt be doing this job and its barely staying above water now as is. she been getting low rating bad reviews and the people that come in to check the place give it low scores.. the important ones... that hurts my self esteem me and my girlfriend took pride in it and we were the only people there that did. ... i know i made that really long but i guess i was venting a little as well. i hope i was detailed enough but not like to detailed. general point of the question is ... i got a work release for 3 days she gave me a week off i agreed. then my girlfriend has an issue the previous night to making the schedule that upsets the manger , unrelated to me directly doesn't change our agreement that i will return to work the following week. then i am given another week off without warning that will bring down everything my girlfriend and i have worked so hard to build ... and i quite honestly don't know what we are going to do... thank you for your guys time and i hope i do not waste it while you read my really long winded question -.-' thanks again
