short term medical/payout of EIB earned

Hospital I work 4/just anounced the outsourcing of our jobs-very next day the outsource company met with us & offered us our jobs on a probationary period upon termination by the hospital-haspital has agreed to pay out our acclumated PTO hours however declines to payout our EIB (extended sickness bank) these hours have been earned & I believe we should be entitled to compensation
also what kind of medical coverage should they be offering
terminated employees that choose not to go with the outsource co.?

Illinois' wage payment and collection act requires employers to pay all final compensation, including bonus payments, vacation pay, wages and commissions on your next regularly scheduled payday. It is not clear whether banked sick pay fits the definition of compensation, however.
