Relocated at my expense at company sugestion, now being laid off.

I was pushed into relocating to Jackson,MS at my own expense because my company said they had more work and better buisness there. That was in Oct 2000. I have worked a total of 6 weeks since I have been here and now my company is laying me off on April 13th. Do I have any type of claim againts them for misrepresentation or having me move under false pretenses? Thank you.

Relocation

I doubt if you have an action, but you might. It will depend, among perhaps other things, upon what the company knew when it told you.
