On June 28, 2017 , I got really sick at work , went to the dr and returned back to work on July 3 2017 with a note and worked 4 hours , then I got really sick again and went home. My dr said I had heat exhaustion and severe dehydration he recommended I stay home and and get well . I was really sick and after 2 weeks I had new symptoms , I also have a brain tumor that my employer is well aware of . I finally got my dr to send in his paperwork on the 25th of July . I was fired on July 26th for not getting my paperwork in a timely manner . I was shocked , I have Never been written up for anything !!! I also applied for unemployment, which was denied, until they investigated and found out my supervisor had lied about me being written up on multiple occasions , then they approved it . My union filed a wrongful termination grievance , but it was denied and now they want to go to arbrtration . I just don't know what to do ??? Any advice ?
