Obligations to repay sign-on (relocation) bonus in Washington State

I received a sign-on bonus for the implied purpose of relocation to join my employer in Washington State. My offer letter stated that if I did not stay with the company for 1 year that I would need to repay in full.

Is there any provision in Washington state employment laws that would preclude my employer from enforcing repayment for the full amount? e.g.,

* any special protections for employees,
* any ability to repay a pro-rated amount based on remaining portion of 1 year tenure vs. repaying 100%?
* other options allowable under the law, etc.?
