Non-compete before work begins

I am a physician who signed a non-compete in exchange for $10,000 bonus. I have not started working for the hospital yet. The contract states that either party has to give 180 days notice to break the contract without cause. I am considering another offer from a nearby hospital. Would the non-compete apply if I refunded the bonus since I have not begun working there?

non-compete

I think you can get out of it as you did not recieve any info that would harm the hospital if you took a job elsewhere. If you have problems taking the other offer, please feel free to contact me for representation.
